Let your emotions run free. Eight engines to express the exclusive nature of the New Musa: petrol, diesel and LPG. Monotony is not an option.
The new 1.4 8v 77 bhp petrol engine, mounted with a 5-speed manual gearbox, offers extremely responsive acceleration and extremely low fuel consumption, making it particularly suitable for city use. It is a 4-cylincder in line unit with a capacity of 1368 cc, designed with particular emphasis on performance and fuel consumption, areas in which the Lancia Musa is at the top of the category, with a power output of 57 kW (77 bhp) at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 11.7 kgm at 3000 rpm. It can reach a top speed of 163 km/hr and go from 0 to 100 km/hr in 13.5 seconds. Fuel consumption figures are extremely low: 7.9 l/100 km in the urban cycle, 5.2 l/100 km in the extra-urban cycle, and 6.2 l/100 km in the mixed cycle. Available also with LPG.
A sparkling yet extremely fuel-efficient engine, this is the latest addition to the Fire range, and on the Lancia Musa it can also be mounted with the manual robotic ‘Dolce Far Niente’ (D.F.N.) gearbox. It is a 4-cylinder in line unit with a capacity of 1368 cc, bore of 72 mm and stroke of 84 mm. It has four valves per cylinder, driver directly by 2 overhead camshafts. The engine was developed with particular emphasis on performance and fuel consumption, areas in which the Lancia Musa is at the top of the category, with a power output of 70 kW (95 bhp) at 5800 rpm and a peak torque of 13.0 kgm at 4500 rpm. Fitted with this engine, the Lancia Musa can reach a top speed of over 175 km/hr, go from 0 to 100 km/hr in 11.5 seconds, and cover a kilometre from a standing start in 33.0 seconds. Fuel consumption figures are among the best in the segment: 8.7 l/100 km in the urban cycle, 5.4 l/100 km in the extra-urban cycle and 6.6 l/100 km in the mixed cycle.
The New Lancia Musa is also available with the 1.3 Multijet 16v 70 bhp, the smallest and most advanced multiple-injection ‘Common Rail’ diesels, which can also be mounted with the manual robotic ‘Dolce Far Niente’ (D.F.N.) gearbox. The 1.3 Multijet 16v is a quiet, environmentally-friendly engine, offering excellent performance and great driving comfort. Compact and technologically sophisticated, the 1.3 Multijet 16v manages to squeeze into a cylinder with a diameter of only 65 mm a total of four valves, an injector and a spark a glow plug, and the whole engine weighs only 130 kg. Performance levels are very similar to those for petrol engines, but with significant reductions in vibrations, noise and harmful emissions. When fitted with the 1.3 Multijet 16v, the Lancia Musa can reach a top speed of 159 km/hr, go from 0 to 100 km/hr in 15.4 seconds, and consumes 4.9 l/100Km in the combined cycle.
This engine, an evolution of the 1.3 Multijet 16 v 70 bhp unit, is a brand new entry to the range. It uses a variable-geometry turbocharger that delivers a maximum power output of 90 bhp and a peak torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. It is the diesel engine with the highest specific power output in the world. It also offers outstanding performance: it can go from 0 to 100 km/hr in 12.5 seconds and has a top speed of 173 km/h. Fuel consumption figures are 6.0 l/100 km in the urban cycle, 4.0 l/ 100 km in the extra-urban cycle and 4.7 l/100 km in the combined cycle. The engine complies with Euro 4 standards on emissions and can also be fitted with a dust particulate filter (DPF).
The new 1.6 Mjt 120 HP engine with DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) EURO 5 completes and extends the Musa range, making it even more versatile, just as well-suited to use about town as before and, now more than ever, also for long journeys.
The new engine, a Common Rail unit with intercooler, with variable geometry turbocharger, new generation injectors and 5-speed gearbox, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 9.9 seconds. Great pickup for minimal fuel consumption.
State-of-the-art engine: great performance with maximum respect for the environment.
A new 1.3 Mjt 95 HP EURO 5 engine with DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), also available with a DFN - Dolce Far Niente (“It’s great to do nothing”)- Robotised gearbox has been introduced to complete the Lancia Musa range, confirming its position of strength in the high-tech engine market because it is fitted with a Particulate Filter as standard.
The engine offers a capacity of 1248 cm³, developed with particular attention to performance and fuel consumption, with a power output of 68 kW (95 HP) at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 20 kgm at 1500 rpm. The car is capable of a top speed of 173 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.5 seconds.
Fuel consumption is limited: 5.5 l/100 km over an urban cycle, 3.7 l/100 km over an extra-urban cycle and 4.4 l/100 km over a mixed cycle.
The Musa range has been extended by LPG versions, available on the four available trim levels, ARGENTO, DIVA, ORO and PLATINO, with 1.4, 8v 77 HP engine.
Lancia once again confirms its eco-friendly credentials, yet without giving up any of the style that has always defined it.
