FASHION TRIP: On the road again. Vicky, Cristina and Lancia Ypsilon.

After a dream-like journey through the fascinating world of fairytales, the Lancia Ypsilonunexpectedly reveals another side of itself to its fans. Faithful to its thoroughbred roots, it goes back on the road. On the road again, goin’ places that I’ve never been.
As an antidote to the mist and cold of our European winter, the Lancia Ypsilon awaits us on the Mojave Desert uplands, in California. The travelling companions who will drive it along the dusty tracks are two authentic California Girls, Vicky and Cristina.
These latter-day versions of 'Thelma and Louise' are the stars of a campaign will go out in parallel in the press and on TV. They await us on the Homepage to start their journey between earth and sky, which will proceed from the Mojave to Las Vegas, finishing in Los Angeles. Each leg of the Fashion Trip will correspond to a different section on the site. This will be activated online when the campaign airs in the traditional media.
Vicky and Cristina will tell the story of their trip on a virtual whiteboard that can be navigated using a mouse, in a patchwork of words, images and sounds.
We will be to share their free flow of thoughts or quotes from the great library of beatnik culture, Polaroid photos and videos, as pages of a faithful on-board diary. And then come to the music, because sounds are just as important as words: Ypsilon Fashion Trip is a CD with an evocative selection of music that can be streamed, the soundtrack of the latest adventure in the Lancia Ypsilon universe.
It all begins with a bowling match and a very special strike before continuing from one surprise to the next. The funny, disenchanted Vicky and Cristina wink irresistibly: they seem to tell us that the journey is more important than the destination. Let's go!
