The new Delta cuts a dash on land and sea with the exclusive Lancia Powerboat: the new pride of Lancia, designed by Sacs Marine – a leading name in the nautical sector - has been created by the designer Christian Grande, who took his inspiration from the smooth, aerodynamic shape of the Delta to create a seagoing Lancia with a stylish soul and sporty looks.
Aristocratic, for all the world like a large sports coupè inspired by the appeal of luxury city cars, it moves amidst the gorgeous pearls of the coastline. Steering in the open air lets you experience the pleasure of flight between sea and sky, but a fully retractable electric hood can be raised to protect guests if required. The raked windscreen lifts up to provide easy access to the forward deck, for disembarking or sunbathing. The rear screen is reminiscent of the most appealing classic automobiles, while LED light clusters twinkle invitingly. The form and content of the interior furnishing is up-to-the-minute. In the dinette, the dining table and seats convert to a double divan bed at the touch of a button.
1120 horsepower from Fiat Powertrain Technologies growl from under the bonnet, currently the best in their class. Unstoppable on the water, from 0 to 100 is a breeze. Two 2 x 560 HP FPT engines, and stylish over the depths, 13.1 m in length. Ideal for owners of character, lovers of speed who would never dream of relinquishing the wheel because that would mean losing control over so much power.
This is the first luxury sea-going Lancia, so exclusive that it is only available to film stars for now: its society debut is planned for 4 September against the magical backdrop of the Laguna. The event will mark the 66th Venice International Film Festival, of which Lancia is again the main sponsor.
