Lancia takes Verona with passion and power

Performance and future collide at the Rally Due Valli

The 43rd Rally Due Valli delivered adrenaline, fierce competition, and an overwhelming tournout for Lancia. As the second sport of the Trofeo Lancia and the fourth round of the Italian Rally Championship (CIAR), it transformed Verona into the beating heart of Lancia's new performance era. Across eight special stages and over 105 km of asphait racing, the Ypsilon Rally4 HF proved its mettle on one of Italy's demanding courses.

A record 24 crews — 19 of them Under 35 — took on the rally at the wheel of the Ypsilon Rally4 HF, underscoring its status as a springboard for the ERC 2026 official team. From the Alcenago shakedown to legendary sections like Erbezzo and Cappella Fasani, the Ypsilon Rally4 HF delivered outstanding control, agility, and reliability — confirming itself as the new reference point in the 2WD category.

Davide Pesavento and co-driver Lorenzo Mattucci stole the show, claiming this stage of Trofeo Lancia win with a dominant run after SS2. Their performance earned them not only the overall Trofeo win but also top spots in the Italian 2WD and Under25 Championships, along with the Junior category and the coveted “Best Performer” title. Just five seconds behind, Pisani and Biagi — victors at Targa Florio — took second overall and won the Master category, sealing the Miki Stage with a dramatic final push.

Beyond the racing, the HF spirit came alive at the Lancia Corse HF Village at Veronafiere. Thousands experienced the new Ypsilon in hybrid and full-electric versions, and witnessed legends like the Delta Integrale and 037 alongside the all-new 280 HP Ypsilon HF — a fully electric road car accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. As the brand gears up for its high-performance future, the Rally Due Valli served as a thrilling bridge between legacy and innovation.

The next stage of the Trofeo Lancia is scheduled for July 4-6, on the occasion of the Rally Roma Capitale, which will bring the trophy to compete in the international context of the FIA ERC.
